“Faith: Our Conquering Shield”

Believe in what God says, not man.

Steps for a Stronger Faith

1. Hear and study word of God. Rom. 10:17
2. Belief: “Help my unbelief.” Mark 9:14-29
3. Prayer conversation with God. I Thess. 5:17 right frame of mind
James 5:13-16; James 1:2-6 Build endurance.
4. Love God John 3:16
5. Love each other John 13:34-35
6. Serve others with love. John 13 God in flesh got on His knees I John 3:18
Being considerate is a big part of Christianity.
7. Sharing our faith. Matt.28:18-20
8. What my eighth grade teacher wrote in yearbook: “Be a positive influence for Christ.”
9. Be involved in Christian activities.
10. Setting a Christian example Don’t be careless.
11. Keep eyes on Jesus Heb. 12:1-2; Matt. 14:35-41
12. Get up when you fall because dropping the shield makes you defenseless. Luke 22:54-66 Peter wept bitterly after denial but he also followed Jesus the closest.
13. Be prepared to overcome. I John 5:4
The world will be destroyed one day. We don’t have to be.

James 1:22 Christianity isn’t a rocking chair. God guarantees us this moment, and that is all.
